CorePay was born from a simple observation: HR and payroll systems were designed for accountants, not for people. We set out to change that.

Meet The Founder
Hi There! My name is Melissa Murphy, Founder of Corel and a Strategic HR Partner. My career began with a passion for connecting people with opportunities, and it’s grown into helping organizations build the kind of workplaces where both people and performance thrive.
I started Corel because because small and mid-sized organizations need access to strategic and scalable HR expertise, but don’t always have the resources for a full-time hire. That’s where the fractional model comes in. With Corel, companies get a partner who can flex with their needs by providing both the high-level strategy to guide growth and the day-to-day support to keep operations running smoothly.
As a mom and entrepreneur, I know firsthand how vital the right support system is. That perspective shapes everything we do at Corel. We combine expertise with a people-first approach, integrating seamlessly into your culture, bringing clarity when challenges arise, and helping you scale with confidence.
For me, this work is personal. It’s about partnership, trust, and creating space for businesses and the people behind them to succeed long term.
